Reading this site has been an education. I saw the film in the early 70's & again only this weekend (Feb 2012) & it affected me deeply (not in a good way..!). The research undertaken is impressive to say the least & it's nice to see that someone has gone to real trouble to separate myth & legend from real verifiable events.

Well done you.

A.

Excellent website. Just wanted to let others know I recently found the graves of Hectorina MacLennan and Penry Probert.
Hectorina was one of Christies victims. Penry was Timothy Evans step father.
Both graves are in Gunnersbury cemetery. Both are buried in common graves and are very close to each other, only one grave seperates them.

What a superb and infomative website. I visited what I thought to be the site of Rillington Place, Ruston Mews back in 1988 ... and this after having tried to research it on a map at Dulwich Library. What is it they say about women and maps??? Anyway, I don't live in London any more but if I get the chance, I will offer tribute to your hard work by paying a discreet and respectful visit to Bartle Road.

I just saw the film 10 Rillington Place and became intrigued because I used to live in Kensington in 1989-90 and never heard a thing about the crimes. Thanks for giving the neighbourhood a face and clearing up the inconsistancies.
