A search of the Internet will reveal a number of sources of further reading and some links to what appear to be well-written, mainly accurate and authoritative sources of information are given below. Other sites and sources having to do with tourism, film locations and the more sensationalist aspects of this and other cases lack factual accuracy and either perpetuate or contribute to some of the misinformation that is to be found.

Regrettably, the fairly recent (1 May 2011) Sky TV production Fred Dinenage: Murder Casebook (John Christie) falls into the latter category and cannot be recommended.

A recently published (August 2011) book entitled Frenzy!  by Neil Root contains a section on the 10 Rillington Place murders but unfortunately appears to lack original research and therefore inevitably recycles much of the old misinformation in which the subject has become steeped. Despite quoting this Web site as a reference, many basic errors are nevertheless repeated, including the Ruston Mews myth.

Wikipedia:

By its nature Wikipedia is open to any contributor with the result that the quality of content is subject to variation and therefore unpredictable. The following two articles are perhaps best described as generally containing fewer errors than most at any given time but never entirely error free. The temptation by contributors to express opinion and conjecture rather than report evidence-supported fact is not always resisted and even the quoted sources themselves are sometimes the origin of erroneous information.

(Relatively recent i.e. March 2010 article - contains some factual inaccuracies such as the location of Beryl and Geraldine’s murders and Evans’s conviction for murder of both wife and baby).
